To install this plugin follow below steps
- Upload the plugin files to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Now goto ‘Settings->Permalinks’ and set default permalink structure as ‘/%postname%/’
- Now click on ‘Save Changes’ and clear cache(if any plugin installed)

Works like a charm to remove the trailing "/" and append ".html" to the end of pages. Good Job.

Until now, I used a combination of old plugins and permalink settings, but I'm glad I found a plugin that supports the new WordPress version.
