For every postqueue it publishes an RSS feed containing that queue's posts, in exactly the order the queue puts them in.<\/p>\n\n<p>Two addresses lead to a queue's feed, both using the queue's slug:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><code>https:\/\/example.com\/feed\/my-queue\/<\/code><\/li>\n<li><code>https:\/\/example.com\/?feed=my-queue<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Nothing has to be set up. Every postqueue gets its feed the moment it exists - including queues added later.<\/p>\n\n<p>Under <strong>Tools \u203a Postqueues<\/strong>, where Postqueue lists the queues, this plugin adds a <strong>Feed<\/strong> column showing each queue's address - so it can be read off and copied where the queue is managed.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Templates<\/h4>\n\n<p>The feed is rendered from <code>template\/postqueue-feed-rss2.php<\/code>, a copy of the RSS2 template WordPress ships. A theme can replace it by putting a file of the same name in a <code>plugin-parts<\/code> folder, or in any sub folder of one:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><code>your-theme\/plugin-parts\/postqueue-feed-rss2.php<\/code><\/li>\n<li><code>your-theme\/plugin-parts\/anything\/postqueue-feed-rss2.php<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Child themes take precedence over parent themes.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Install and activate <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/postqueue\/\">Postqueue<\/a> first - without it this plugin has nothing to publish.<\/li>\n<li>Install Postqueue Feeds through <strong>Plugins \u203a Add New<\/strong>, or upload it to <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Activate it through the <strong>Plugins<\/strong> menu. That is all: activating rebuilds the rewrite rules by itself.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"do%20i%20have%20to%20save%20the%20permalink%20settings%3F\"><h3>Do I have to save the permalink settings?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Activating the plugin rebuilds the rewrite rules, and the rule covers every queue slug at once - so a postqueue created afterwards has its feed straight away. Up to version 1.0 this was necessary, which is why older instructions ask for it.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20a%20queue%27s%20feed%20still%20be%20reached%20as%20my-queue.xml%3F\"><h3>Can a queue's feed still be reached as my-queue.xml?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No, that address is gone as of 2.0.0. The rule behind it matched every <code>.xml<\/code> address on the site - <code>wp-sitemap.xml<\/code> among them - and answered those with a feed instead of their own content. Use <code>\/feed\/&lt;slug&gt;\/<\/code>.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"which%20posts%20appear%20in%20a%20feed%3F\"><h3>Which posts appear in a feed?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Every published post in the queue, in the queue's order, with no paging limit.
