This plugin show maps created with qgis and exported with qgis2web, you just have to upload the folder with all map files to the server.
Upload maps:
- You must have ftp access to your wordpress installation.
- Upload all your qgis2web maps -each map in its own directory- through ftp or ssh to a directory named “gismaps_maps” within the wp-content directory.
Edit a post:
- Use the Gis map tab to add your first map
- Write the DIRECTORY NAME, make a test and copy the shortcode
- Now you have a shortcode, you can paste it into any page or post editor
- Save or publish the post
Note:
- This plugin creates a sample map that connects with openstreetmap.org servers, you can delete this map at any time.

Instalim
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/gis-mapsdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Copy or move the directory named “gismaps_maps” to
/wp-contentdirectory within your WordPress installation. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress

Hi I am Jacky, the beginner of the Wordpress user, I have a question want to be solved.
I created a qgis2web folder and uploaded my qgis2web in named “gismaps_maps” within the wp-content directory. I am working on the localhost.
Then, I wrote the DIRECTORY NAME (qgis2web), make a test, but it shows “No shortcode for this map”. And I can’t fix this problem.
Can you make a tutorial of this plugins, it might be really helpful.

Funciona con Wordpress 6.1.1
Aunque el plugin es viejecillo y lleva mucho tiempo sin actualizaciones, funciona razonablemente bien. Quizás hay que darle alguna que otra vuelta pero su cometido principal lo cumple. He podido publicar mapas trabajados con QGIS y se visualizan perfectamente pudiendo activar y desactivar capas.
Estaría dispuesto a colaborar con un equipo que quisiera retomar el proyecto e irlo actualizando.

Me parece fantástico poder poner los mapas que genero en qgis en la web que desarrollo con wordpress. Lástima que no se actualice. Ánimo para continuar Frank!
