  3. Comment submit time. Spam bots usually submit the info immediately after the page has been loaded, this happens because spam bots don’t actually fill the web form, they just send $_POST data to the blog. The normal visitor sends the data after several seconds or minutes.

CleanTalk has become an absolute nightmare. All websites had to be deactivated, and the reinstallation process is a series of incomprehensible errors when filling out forms with both test and real addresses! Even the simplest forms are blocked, even with addresses that have been marked as non-spam twice in the CleanTalk dashboard. It’s no longer possible to understand how the plugin works, despite all settings being carefully configured.First of all, I’m stupid because I recently extended my CleanTalk subscription to 10 websites for 3 years. A pile of money for a never-ending nightmare.And then you have to realize this: email addresses that have been marked as non-spam are not stored by CleanTalk in a central database, but per website. I think they’re even stupider than I am.

This looks good.

I’ve used my fair share of ‘anti-spam’ plugins on various sites in my time, and never found one that didn’t involve ongoing input from me or left me regretting the purchase. There was always ‘something’ not quite right with them – too hard to use or awful UX but mostly, they didn’t do what they claimed – prevented spam. Anti-Spam by CleanTalk has been something else though! I’ve been happily surprised at the amount of spam it’s prevented and how easy it was to set up. Sure, there were a couple of tweaks I needed to make in the beginning when legitimate emails were being marked incorrectly, but they were due to my choices and not the default actions of the plugin. The team have all been incredibly responsive to integrate their plugin with plugins on my site, quick to offer suggestions and guidance and their response time has been amazing. I definitely recommend this plugin without hesitation. Thanks Team!!!
