Canonical SEO Content syndication plugin adds a meta box at post editor section. You can add permalink of post where the content was originally published. Popular blogs like bufferblog, readwriteweb are taking advantage of content syndication and rel=canonical tags.

Download and install the plugin from WordPress dashboard. You can also upload the entire “Canonical SEO Content Syndication” folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Aktivizojeni shtojcën përmes menusë ‘Shtojca’ te WordPress
Go to post editor section, and add the URL at Canonical SEO box from where you syndicating the content.

If you have already Yoast SEO, then with this tool you’ll have 2 canonical URLs. One is identical to the URL which is set by Yoast. Other one is the custom canonical by this tool. Now you have 2 canonicals with different URLs – Negative SEO guaranteed! Google sure doesn’t like 2 different canonicals. You just need one! Whoever did this has no clue about SEO and doesn’t account for Yoast. So, you want to remove the Yoast Canonical first in order to make this one valuable. It stressed me out because they should’ve thought about this, at least give a warning.
